The most magical time in a parent's life is when you finally get to meet, hold and bring home their newborn.
Newborn sessions usually take place in the comfort of your own home. I love combining timeless portraits of the baby with some lifestyle pictures of the family simply relaxing and being themselves around the house.
I pose them according to their unique way and I accommodate plenty of time for these sessions so that there is time for feeds in between, and clothes changing without any stress. Safety and a relaxed environment are my top priorities in these sessionsI understand a newborn’s limitations and restrictions and I work around their schedule with plenty of patience.

Newborn Sessions FAQ
when?
I love capturing newborns in their first 14 days of life, ideally between the first 4-10 days, when babies are sleepier and make it easier to capture them.
In the event that you know you are having a c-section, we can book in advance. Otherwise, let me know your due date and we will go from there.
Don’t hesitate to email or call me when you are still in the hospital and arrange a date.

where?
Newborn sessions usually take place in the comfort of your own home. If you have a favourite park or beach nearby that you would like pictures taken at, we can always discuss the possibility as well.
do you bring props?
Yes! I bring everything we'll need for the baby's portraits. I use minimal props to keep the focus on the baby and make your photos timeless. However, I do bring some gorgeous muslin wraps, blankets, and baskets that we can use for the baby’s portraits.
Please feel free to have any particular items (blanket, toy, clothes) that you love handy, and we’ll include them in the pictures!
