My family sessions are about pressing pause on everyday life, slowing down, forgetting the noise, and simply enjoying being together.
Everything is designed to be relaxed, simple, and stress-free.
My goal is to capture the heart and essence of your family, so when you look back on your photos, you don’t just see how you looked, but remember how it felt: the love, the connection, the fun.
All you need to do is secure your date and show up as you are. I’ll take care of the rest.

Session Fee: $300
Your session fee secures your booking and includes:
-A guide to help you prepare and feel confident
-Up to 1-hour session at your favorite spot (or I can suggest locations)
-Private online gallery to view and select your favourite images
The session fee is non-refundable and does not include high-
resolution files.

I'm Fabi. I'm a mum, an outdoorsy soul and family photographer based in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, though I love travelling across Australia (and beyond) for the families I photograph.

FAMILY SESSIONSFAQ
when?
The best time to shoot outdoors is sunset and sunrise, for in-home sessions there's more flexibility and are usually around mid-morning.
I shoot seven days a week!
where?
Most of my family sessions are outdoors in natural light—beaches, gardens, or parks are perfect backdrops. I’ll help you choose a location that suits your family’s vibe, whether it’s playful, relaxed, or classic.
Sessions can also take place in the comfort of your own home, or in the studio (additional $50 fee may apply) if you’d like a more timeless, styled setting.
Travel fees within Sydney are included in all sessions. I also travel around Australia for shoots, and once a year I’m in London capturing families there too!
what happens if it rains?
I always keep an eye on the weather. If it looks like rain, we’ll either reschedule to another date or sometimes work with it—rain can create really fun, beautiful photos too!
when will we receive our photos?
I know how exciting it is to see them! You’ll receive an online gallery within 2 weeks of your session, sometimes sooner.
what do we need to wear?
Professional photos don't always mean matching outfits, I want you to feel free and be yourself.
I will send you a wardrobe suggestions guide as a reference but please feel free to wear what you and your family feel comfortable with!
do you offer prints and album?
Yes! Your images deserve to live beyond a screen. I offer handcrafted albums, fine art prints, and wall frames so you can enjoy your photos every day at home.
Once you receive your final photos, you will get access to an online store where you can order directly.
my kids never sit still, what if they won't cooperate?
That’s absolutely fine (and expected!). I keep sessions fun and relaxed so kids feel comfortable being themselves. Some of the best photos come from kids laughing, running, or just being silly—it’s all part of capturing your family’s true personality.
That said, I always make sure to grab a few classic “everyone smiling at the camera” shots too.
